Description:

Fluconazole [Cas No. 86386-73-4] is a triazole antifungal API which is widely used for topical and systemic antifungal therapies. Fluconazole is first generation compound that targets a broad spectrum of fungus by inhibiting 14α-demethylase enzyme, which is a key component for ergosterol synthesis. Leading to the deterioration of fungal cell membrane integrity and stops fungal proliferation.

Fluconazole is widely used as it has high bioavailability, excellent safety, high tolerance level and deep tissue penetration. It is widely used in candidiasis, cryptococcosis, blastomycosis and other infections.
